Well, it’s been long enough – so lets get on with it!

This awesome sweater comes in ten different colours, and is on all layers, so you’ll never run out of options for teaming it with anything else you have in your inventory!

The ladies in the advertisement are some of the most wonderful ladies in SL – my friends. Stay tuned for more of my buddies in my ads, I love showing the diversity of SL through my friends, they’re all shapes and sizes, all sorts of skin colours and hair colours – and I love them all!

The sweaters are reasonably priced at 20L each, on all layers, copy only. The fatpack of all 10 colours is just 85L!

For info on the other clothes worn in the advertisement, see the notecard below the vendor!

Sometimes you get those creators, the ones that put 100% into their work, the ones who work hard at their craft, but they’re little known and you can’t help but wonder why. Victor Spoonhammer is one of those guys. His attention to detail in his creations is absolutely amazing, it goes far beyond what you’d expect for the avatars he creates.

His Sogael Avatar is amazing, despite it not being my style, I can’t help but be in some kind of awe at his primwork, the little details that pull the avatar together. The AO is  spuberbly crafted to math the avatar, flying results in a superbly realistic animation, if this creature was real though, I’d be pretty scared D:

Victor also does other amazing avatars, like a robot that transforms from a land to a flying vehicle when you fly. The animations are smooth

I used the built in editor in Flickr, Picnik, it’s pretty good for what it does, I’m rather impressed!

Updates are awesome!

I’m really pretty lax at this blog to be honest, and that’s probably really bad of me, considering that I have made multiple items and not yet posted images for you to see, so here today, are some nifty things to look at!

First of all we have my current texture sets out for sale, of which I have three. The first one, which was my first foray into making textures, is the Ornate Damask. This is also currently the customer favorite, most people seem to hedge towards buying this rather than any of my other sets. It comes with six colours, each has either a normal  or a damp version! Ignore the price on the image at the moment, as I am selling it for a grand total of $60L. Yep, thats 12 textures for the price of uploading 6, with none of the work involved! The single textures are $10L each, so you can pick and choose if you want a certain colour.

Next up is my Metal Tiles, created with basic, stylish functionality in mind. They tile brilliantly and look great in multiple dimensions, I find they look really classy when set to a high number of repeats, it’s like a really posh mosaic tile. The fatpack is $L50, however I am currently running a $1L promotion  on the single textures, so get them while you can, they’ll be going up to $5L soon enough.

The latest pack of things was my Drunk Flowers pack, a really grungey, colourful range. There are six variations, all contrasting, though I did half in darker shades, and the other in more vibrant, funkier ones – but the overall effect is still the same.  The pattern on this texture was handmade by myself, using a variety of methods to create a tileable, conforming pattern, with character. The large fatpack of 6 is just $L10 for the lot, and you can buy either the Dark or Vibrant trios for $L5, for three textures.

I went to a few awesome events this week, first was on Thursday and was the reopening of Haven Designs, a wonderful store that caters primarily to those of a Gorean persuasion, although some of Delora’s latest releases have been really well suited to casual wear, making it a good place to go for sexy  upper body wear. Here’s a few screenshots of the event, I didn’t manage to get half as many as I would have liked, due to constant crashes.

It was really great fun for the short time I was there, though me and Delora chilled out before hand, flobbing out on the super awesome cushions at the store, the poses on them are so great, and SO lazy!

The next event I wne to was Saturday, I went to Rouge to watch the Mechanized Life Machinima Panel, featuring the awesome Moo Money, and hosted by the lovely Codebastard Redgrave. It was really rather fun, despite feeling a little insulted by one of the machinimists opinions and views, it was interesting to listen to – and I have a screenshot of that too :)

Thats as much of a blog post as I’m going to make today, even though I should type more and add more pictures probably. It’s time for me to hit the hay and get some sleep, because tomorrow I am fixing the script in my DSN gift :D

Beginnings!

I’ll start off with a hello, I think, before dolloping a load of business talk and advertising all over you!

My name is Cyclic, and I love to make textures. I appreciate a good, well made high quality texture, and I appreciate hard work and love that’s put into them.  That’s not to say I don’t appreciate those who work with prims, but thats a whole different kettle of fish :D

I’ll start the blog letting you all know what I currently have in my store for sale – no fatpack is currently over 50L, single textures are only a dollar, and the single colour packs are only two! I’ll be trying to keep everything I have in my store under 100, as I know how hard it can be to find affordable textures that are usable, too many freebies or cheapies skim out on quality and jip you, the customer out of finding a good designer, and themselves out of a customer.

Next post will be images to get you salivating, meanwhile here’s a link to my xstreet :)
